Job Summary: Our client, an industry leader, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to manage essential accounting functions, including completing the daily AR process, processing payments of invoices, handling collections for past due invoices, conducting title and insurance audits, and overseeing various administrative and office management tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of the daily accounts receivables process.
  • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts for any discrepancies.
  • Process vendor invoices promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate timely payments.
  • Implement effective collections strategies to recover past due payments.
  • Communicate with customers to address payment-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in title and insurance documentation.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address any discrepancies.
  • Assist customers with payment rescheduling as needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely payoff information upon request.
  • Manage the title preparation process following contract terminations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Efficiently process and record customer payments.
  • Reconcile payment transactions and resolve any issues.
  • Oversee the shipping of GPS inventory to various branches.
  • Coordinate logistics and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to process and coordinate insurance claims.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of claims.
  • Conduct notary services as required.
  • Maintain office supply inventory levels and place orders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Proven relatable experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using accounting software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
